Professional Life
I manage a department responsible for Digital security and infrastructure, focusing on creating sustainable solutions that bridge operations and development teams. While I’ve stepped back from daily hands-on work, my role now centers on:
- Designing resilient system architectures that withstand modern threats and scaling challenges
- Building scalable team processes that balance agility with operational excellence
- Ensuring robust security practices are embedded throughout the development lifecycle
- Creating solutions that stand the test of time and adapt to evolving technological landscapes
My career spans over a decade in infrastructure management, where I’ve witnessed the evolution from traditional data centers to cloud-native approaches. This journey has taught me the value of automation, declarative configuration, and infrastructure as code.
Personal Tech Interests
Outside of work, I’m an InfoSec enthusiast who enjoys experimenting with:
- NixOS for personal computers and servers, leveraging its reproducible builds and declarative configuration
- System automation and configuration using modern tooling and functional approaches
- Open-source technologies that challenge conventional paradigms in computing
- Security-focused solutions that protect digital privacy and personal information
I’m particularly drawn to NixOS for its principled approach to system configuration. The ability to define entire systems declaratively and rebuild them deterministically has changed how I think about computing environments.
